This Week 2/6-10 Mrs Turner

Get ready for some REALLY fun and exciting things coming to our classroom! We have added a field trip on Feb 29th. We will be attending the homeschool day a the botanical gardens and visiting the Witte. Last week we introduced a writing contest the girls will be participating in. I have already heard some amazing stories and can't wait to see their final products. More information about future FUN events will be coming very soon.

We are beginning prep work for our standardized tests (we will take these the week after spring break). I have spoken with some of you about STAAR preparation as well. While the scores on these tests are not our ultimate measuring stick, we want our girls to feel comfortable and prepared so they are ready to do their best when testing day comes.
